Sharp 4K Smartphone display with a ridiculous 806 pixels per inch
If you think 2K displays are not necessary for a Smartphone, just wait until you see what’s coming next year. AsTechblog.gr reports, Sharp has already announced such a screen that will fit 5.5-inch phablets sometime next year with an ultra-sharp resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels or 806 pixels per inch
Sharp 4K IGZO displays will take on Samsung 4K AMOLED displays, which are also expected to debut in the near future to take some time, with the Galaxy Note 5, the first device is believed to have a pack of 4K screen.
It’s too early to say what 2016 Smartphone will have 4K IGZO screens, but Sharp is already making IGZO display technology for Apple for certain products, with the iPad Pro also rumored to pack IGZO screens.
